Gifts of Making
Making is one of the ways God meets us.
Here, creativity is not rushed.
It is received.
Workshops at Shepherd’s Rest are shaped by a simple conviction:
That creativity can become a place of rest.
These gatherings are not about performance or perfection. They are about slowing down, listening, and creating in God’s presence. The focus is always process over product — trusting that God is at work even when the outcome is still forming.
Psalm 127
At Shepherd’s Rest workshops, you can expect:
- A hospitable, unhurried environment
- Gentle guidance rather than instruction-heavy teaching
- Space for prayer, Scripture, and quiet reflection
- Creative practices rooted in presence, not pressure
- A welcoming table for beginners and experienced makers alike
- A traveling studio with events happening all over Greenville
You do not need to be an artist.
You only need to come willing to receive.
